A native New Yorker, Dr. Alan Rosen received his B.A. from Cornell University in 1981. He graduated from Johns Hopkins Medical School four years later. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the Medical College of Virginia and a Gastroenterology Fellowship at the University of Maryland.
Dr. Rosen is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. A member of American College of Gastroenterology and Maryland Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, he’s also a former Instructor of Medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Rosen’s professional interests include colorectal cancer screening, upper digestive tract cancer, esophageal disorders, inflammatory bowel disease and hepatology.
